IZOB-BCU letter of intent in Wałbrzych

An important step behind us.
During the conference on Motorization Transformation – Impact on road safety and environmental safety in Wałbrzych, a letter of intent on cooperation between the Association of Employers of the Green Business Responsibility Initiative (IZOB) and the Industry Skills Centre in Mechatronics in the School Complex No. 5 was signed. This is an important agreement for us, because there are several areas that are increasingly intertwined today: industrial education, industry, green transformation, skills development and real labour market needs.

Motorization is changing very quickly. New technologies, electromobility, automation, energy efficiency, road and environmental safety — all of this requires not only investment, but above all people with appropriate competences.

This is why we want to work together to:
Development of skills of pupils, workers and adults,
better matching education to industry needs,
Organisation of training, courses and events,
Knowledge transfer between schools, business and labour market institutions,
Joint R & D and innovation projects.

The signature of the letter is also a step towards closer cooperation with the Sectoral Competency Council of the Metal Machine Industry — in particular in the field of identification and forecasting of competences needed in modern industry.

Another important element of this ecosystem is the SIMP Branch of Wałbrzych, acting as an industry partner. It is the expert facilities of the engineering environment, industry experience and the practical perspective of the industry that allow to better combine education with the real needs of companies.

This allows the cooperation of BCU, IZOB, SIMP and the Council Sectoral Environment to have a dimension not only educational, but also industry, implementation and system.

Because transformation doesn't just happen in technologies.
It takes place primarily in the competence of people who design, implement, operate and develop these technologies.

We thank the Industry Skills Centre at MECHATRONICE in Wałbrzych for being open to cooperation and discussing how to jointly build staff for the economy of the future.
