Description of business

SIMP is a voluntary, democratic, self-governing and long-lasting organization of social usefulness, uniting engineers and technicians of all specialties and related professions.
SIMP is a creative association of a scientific-technical character which endeavours to make use of its members' intellect, wealth of nature, creating an atmosphere of friendly solidarity, and taking care of economic development of the country and safety of the Republic of Poland.

SIMP's aims:
• promotion of science, technology and propagating culture and good traditions,
• improving professional qualifications of members,
• creating a forum of information exchange in the range of science and technology, economics as well as social issues,
• caring about adhering to professional ethics of engineers and technicians,
• popularization of achievements of science, technology, economics and creators of these fields,
• representing and defending professional and personal businesses of its members,
• developing friendly and professional bonds,
• taking care of monuments of technology and material culture, protecting the natural environment,
• propagating the idea of humanization of technique and associational activity.

Services offered

SIMP's services:
 investing in professional authorizations,
 running training activity co-operating with education authorities in developing and giving opinions on programmes and teaching methods,
 organizing congresses, conferences, lectures, competitions, exhibitions, presentations and educational - technical departures - both national and foreign,
 facilitates a professional start to young engineers and technicians and provides care to seniors of the Association,
 organization of cultural, entertainment and recreational events,
 granting badges and prizes
 creating scholarship funds and providing friendly help,
 facilitates fulfilling of professional practice and contacts with experts,
 invests professional authorizations and titles of expertise to execute specialist activities,
 conducts qualifying procedures in order to obtain degrees of professional specialization,
 helps to fix applications while applying for registration to the FEANI register and obtaining the title of EUR ENG.,
 organizes entertainment events such as bicycle rallies, shooting contests.

Additionally, SIMP supports scientific-technical work, co-operates with different organizations and scientific-technical associations in the country and abroad, co-operates with government bodies in creating or giving opinions on the subject of development programmes and new technologies belonging to the sphere of interest of SIMP for standardization, certification and working out technical and economic evaluations.
